WHY WE CURATED IT:
The first JLC to make our inventory and unlikely to be the last! The most prolific and important movement manufacturer of all time; widely hailed as “The Watchmakers’ Watchmaker”. For over a century, JLC famously supplied movements to the likes of Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Cartier, IWC and Breguet, to name just a few. Here we have a largely undiscovered model with a lovely oval case and an intricate “ribbon” bezel reminiscent of cake icing expertly piped by an artisanal pâtissier. The case is hallmarked 0.800 silver, with a dial akin to frosty textured paper. Looks to be recently serviced from the caseback annotation, corroborated by our test data. If it’s anything like the JLC-powered watches that are part of our own personal collections, we’re confident this will perform brilliantly well into the future!
