Omega De Ville “Ellipse” Ref. 111.0148 (circa 1979)
Omega De Ville “Ellipse” Ref. 111.0148 (circa 1979)
WHY WE CURATED IT:
We had a couple of these Omega “Ellipse” before that were snapped up almost instantly, and quite a few have asked us to hunt down more. So here we are. Anyway, these are perhaps my favourite De Villes for their utterly perfect proportions on the wrist. Slightly dressy but with a substantial enough footprint, and easily dressed down with a strap change to double as a simple, elegant daily. In a third metal and dial combination this time. High-boxed and gently-domed original Omega-signed Hesalite crystal for that sublime vintage vibe. Manual-winding and in excellent condition overall. An unbeatable package at this price.
CONDITION:
9/10, with minimal signs of use. Original signed crown, original Omega Hesalite crystal with logo etching. Crystal has very fine hairlines visible only with a loupe. Dial, markers and hands are as pristine as can be. New aftermarket strap and buckle.
