Longines Octagon “150th Anniversary Mother of Pearl” Ref. 3209 (Circa 1982)
WHY WE CURATED IT:
We’ve had a few of these vintage Octagons in the past with different dials, case proportions and sizes. They’ve proven to be popular, and we totally get why. But this time, we have something extra special, and I dare say it this time, RARE. A late-iteration model from 1982, in the narrower, longer and slimmer 3209 case, with wider combination hooded/claw lugs (easier strap changes). This was a special release to commemorate Longines’ 150th Anniversary and to celebrate, they gave us this stunning mother-of-pearl dial. Possibly the only one in the global market right now. If that’s not enough, the icing on the cake is the exemplary condition. But wait, what is icing without a cherry on top? This one is fully serviced and warrantied. Have this cake. And eat it too! It’s the ultimate Longines Octagon we may never see again.
