WHY WE CURATED IT:
A lovely ellipse-shaped Omega with a wide-open minimalist ivory dial and equally minimalist baton markers and pencil hands. In very practical stainless steel and a ready-whenever-you-are quartz movement. Overall, perhaps the most understated and daily-able of ellipses ever. Easily dressed up or down with a change of straps. Proportions are exquisite and again sit right within that overlap between dress watch and elegant daily too. There’s no crown (just a single pusher), an Omega statement on accuracy and lack of need for frequent adjustment. At this price, who could ask for more?
CONDITION:
9/10, with visible signs of use, mostly along the case sides and underneath. Compensated by that great expanse of beautiful neutral dial which is spectacularly clean. Any dial or crystal imperfections are barely discernible even under magnification except for a tiny edge stain at 2:45. Caseback still has a paper sticker but any printing to identify its purpose has worn off. Calibre ID engraving crisp and deep. Brand new aftermarket strap and buckle with original Omega buckle included. Movement in excellent health and is quartz-accurate.
