WHY WE CURATED IT:
A beautiful vintage Omega possibly inspired by the famed PP Ellipse, but with a classical stepped bezel giving it a more robust, architectural presentation. Just lovely on the wrist. Sized right for a dress watch by modern norms but easily doubles as a daily for those who favour day-to-day elegance. The proportions are chef’s kiss on this one. If you’ve always liked an Ellipse but couldn’t bring yourself to stomach the cost, and don’t want a direct copy either, this is as good as it gets when it comes to alternatives.
CONDITION:
8/10 with visible signs of prior use. Super clean crystal and dial. Strap is new unused, Omega buckle has signs of wear/lovely subtle oxidisation. Mesh bracelet mildly stained but 100% usable. Testing revealed healthy power reserve, healthy movement performance and accurate to +/-10 secs/day in dial up position.
