WHY WE CURATED IT:
The De Ville line holds a special place in Omega history. Originally a sub-collection within Seamasters, it diverged into a standalone line by 1967, offering more refinement vs the brand’s increasingly sport-oriented catalogue. Over time, it even became the platform for many Omega firsts, such as their first co-axial escapement and first anti-magnetic central tourbillon. Amongst dressier De Villes, we love these thin, manual-winding “Ellipses” equipped with the 2.5mm thick Cal. 625 (amongst the thinnest Omega calibres ever). Here we have a lovely silver-on-steel example in exquisite condition. Very elegant and sculptural on the wrist and an Omega classic beyond the usual suspects. Serviced and warrantied.
