Omega De Ville “Square” Frosty Golden Dial Ref. 191.0102 (circa 1980)
Omega De Ville “Square” Frosty Golden Dial Ref. 191.0102 (circa 1980)
WHY WE CURATED IT:
I’ve come to really love these crown-less, pushbutton-setting, ultra-thin, two-hand Omegas. Who needs a crown and seconds hand when there’s no need to regularly set or wind anything this simple and accurate. This here is one of the better versions imho with its elegant any-occasion versatility, rounded-square shape, frosty golden dial, gilt hands and details, and wide strap for a masculine presence despite the compact ultrathin case. As dressy as it is a daily watch. In spectacular condition (check out those crisp vertically-brushed case sides); probably the best we’ve seen so far.
CONDITION:
9.5/10, with barely visible signs of use. Crystal, dial and hands are pristine. Sharp edges, crisp brushing and distinct finishing transitions throughout. A few hairllines and nicks but hardly perceptible unless you go looking for them. Fine marks on the caseback with clear calibre ID engraving. Brand new aftermarket strap and buckle. Movement in excellent health and is quartz-accurate.
