WHY WE CURATED IT:
Genève models are prized by value-conscious collectors. Initially a flagship dress line in the 50s, Genèves took a backseat in the 60s as Speedmasters/Seamasters rose to fame. But Omega kept refining the collection, bringing affordability through simpler cases without compromising mechanical quality. By the late 60s–70s, they experimented with bold shapes, including horizontal ovals akin to the ergonomic Genève Dynamic (see our previous listings). Certain Genèves, like this rare white gold-plated example, featured Omega’s top calibres eg. this Cal. 625, renowned for reliability, accuracy, serviceability and beauty, often hailed as one of Omega’s finest manuals. Understated luxury and avant-garde form, yours at a steal!
