Introduced in the mid-1960s as a workhorse movement, the 7005 was designed to offer Seiko’s characteristic combination of reliability, affordability, and functionality. They were the first batch of 7000s movement series as indicated on the dial with a 17 JEWEL stamping. This specific piece comes in a beautiful Matt blue dial, more subtle than its green counterpart, but much more classy in my opinion. A watch which I have paired on a leather strap, it also comes with a bracelet as shown. The acrylic glass is in excellent condition, with minor blemishes. Case condition is worn as it’s a 60 year old watch. Watch has been regulated and de-magnetised for daily wear accuracy. piece just got serviced on july 2025
