WHY WE CURATED IT:
What’s better than interestingly shaped lugs? Lugs hinged to conform to your wrist, and reversible for two different looks! Uniquely elegant on the wrist with a touch of evocative classicism, and super comfortable at that. The rest of the watch is lovely as well with a circular case, exquisite deep black index-less dial, some pop from the polished rehaut and golden hands/applied UG logo. Oh, and it’s powered by a mechanical movement as well. Followers will know our love for UG. Once a high-end brand, crushed by the quartz era, but on the verge of revival under Breitling. Beyond hyped models like Polerouters/Tri-Compax are dressy treasures like this, waiting to be discovered at incredible value.
CONDITION:
9.5/10 with intact plating showing only mild signs of wear and some very lovely rainbow aging around the bezel. Original signed crown. Caseback sticker still intact. Lacquer dial has the slightest spidering, hands and crystal have microscopic age spots, all visible only under a loupe. Aftermarket handmade strap and buckle are new, but we’re including the (worn) original UG strap and buckle. Movement in excellent condition with to-spec power reserve, negligible beat error and accurate to ±5 secs/day averaged from 6 timegrapher positions.
