WHY WE CURATED IT:
The De Ville line holds a special place in Omega history. Originally a sub-collection within Seamasters, it diverged into a standalone line by 1967, offering more refinement vs the brand’s increasingly sport-oriented catalogue. Over time, it even became the platform for many Omega firsts, such as their first co-axial escapement and first anti-magnetic central tourbillon. Within dress De Villes, this is a particularly classical one thanks to the squircle shape popular in that era, stepped bezel and a frosty golden dial. With a pushbutton-setting movement that negates the need for a line-disrupting crown. Dressy, classy and dripping with authentic vintage vibes.
CONDITION:
8.5/10, with minimal signs of use, except for a few hairlines and a barely-visible nick on the bezel at 9 o’clock. Lugs have small marks from strap changes in the past. Crystal, dial, hands, markers are all clean. New aftermarket buckle and strap. Movement is healthy and quartz-accurate.
