WHY WE CURATED IT:
Here’s a happy union of two iconic shapes in one Omega De Ville. The case is tonneau and the dial is an ellipse; a rather delightful combo. As always, at an incredible value for these vintage thin, time-only Omegas. We were quite taken with the condition of this unit in particular, and it uses that classic, rock-solid, much-loved Cal. 625 and a sapphire crystal. All these factors combine to make for a delightful dress watch that’s perfectly suited as a daily casual piece as well. Comes as a seldom-seen full set with Omega box and warranty certificate. An absolute steal for a reliable, elegant Omega in stunning condition.
CONDITION:
9/10, with hardly any obvious signs of use; most of the scratches are on the caseback. All case lines are still distinct. Crystal, dial, hands are pretty much pristine. Used aftermarket strap and buckle in excellent condition. Movement in excellent health with above-spec power reserve, strong amplitude, low beat error and accurate to well within ±3 secs/day averaged from 6 timegrapher positions.
