The first Rolex in our curation, and we picked one of the loveliest, best value models! A simple no-nonsense manual-wind ultra-thin dress piece in 18K solid yellow gold, with a warm sunburst silver dial and yellow gold indices, hands and coronet. Absolutely sublime on the wrist, and makes one wonder why more people aren’t having these on their radars instead of the predictable steel sports pieces. There’s confidence and elegance in simplicity and this one personifies that, even if you ignore the universally-recognised 5-pointed crown. Full set with box and papers, serviced, and warrantied, from a leading retailer in Malaysia. Low-key luxury on the wrist for those who value understatement over predictable flex.
CONDITION:
9/10, with barely any signs of use, just some expected patina on the dial surface befitting a carefully worn vintage piece from 1991, and not a service dial. Original signed crown and pristine sapphire crystal. Caeback has crisp engravings and hallmarks. Used chocolate aftermarket strap in excellent condition with plenty of life remaining, installed with original Rolex 18K buckle. Movement serviced with mechanical warranty until September 2025, with to-spec power reserve, high amplitude, low beat error and accurate to ±20 secs/day averaged from 5 timegrapher positions.
