WHY WE CURATED IT:
A quintessentially 70s “TV” shaped case, in spectacular condition, all original parts, original UG box, with a serviced and warrantied mechanical movement. And there’s something about how perfect all the proportions are on this watch, whether case, dial size, dial details or strap width… the kind that you put on and everything feels just right, making this one of my unexpected favourites for this drop. A perfect candidate for a daily casual but equally suitable as a dress watch if gold ain’t your thang. Followers will know our love for UG. Once a high-end brand, crushed by the quartz era, but on the verge of revival under Breitling. Beyond hyped models like Polerouters/Tri-Compax are simple, dressy treasures like this, waiting to be discovered at amazing value.
CONDITION:
9.5/10 with barely any signs of use. Appears unpolished with broad crisp bevels and edges. Original signed crown. Pristine crystal, hands, markers and dial. Quite the find indeed. Almost-new aftermarket strap and original UG buckle. Used original UG box. Movement serviced with 6-month warranty and good performance with to-spec power reserve, low beat error and accurate to ±30 secs/day averaged from 5 timegrapher positions.
